Conductivity, Alloy, Temper And Joining Requirements Help Define The Right Starting Material For A Copper Part.

Material Options

Common sheet grades include C10200, C11000 and C12200. Conductivity and joining requirements affect the choice. Specify the UNS alloy, temper and finish rather than simply calling out copper.

Common Sheet Sizes

Bison’s maximum sheet size is 60 × 120 in (5 × 10 ft). Common supplier formats include:

  • C102 / C110 / C122 sheet: 36 × 96 in (3 × 8 ft)

Supplier availability depends on grade, condition and thickness.

Thickness & Process Fit

Send the required thickness with your drawing. We confirm the working range for each cutting, forming or joining step; sheet size alone does not establish processing capacity.

Copper’s thermal conductivity and reflectivity affect cutting and joining. Review the alloy, thickness and joint together. State electrical requirements and whether the surface should weather naturally or retain a controlled finish.
